Our Work
Knowesis is engaged in the design and consolidation of tens of individual databases serving all aspects of human capital management. Working directly for the AFPC IT Directorate for Technology and Information (DP0), our staff evaluate the content of each database to ultimately provide an enterprise solution with a common administration and maintenance strategy. Knowesis experts also prepare critical documentation based on our support actions for each database, including a Database Migration Plan, Database Software Design Document, and a Database Maintenance Plan.
Our Results
Knowesis has been tasked with integrating over 50 mission critical databases across the AFPC. Our staff have worked directly with business process owners to devise and implement an Air Force enterprise architecture compliant strategy to modernize their database solutions. This effort has greatly reduced the level of effort required to maintain these databases and increase the fidelity and availability of the data.
U.S. Air Force Personnel Center
The Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC) supports commands around the world to conduct Air Force and Joint missions. AFPC executes programs covering the complete lifecycle of military and civilian personnel, from accession through retirement, including readiness, development, growth, and deployment. AFPC's diverse workforce in five subordinate units, has approximately 2,500 Air Force military, civilian, and contractor personnel responsible for worldwide operations for nearly two million Total Force Airmen, retirees, and family members.
